Location

Pension Flora is located exactly in the centre of the beach of Platis Gialos and right on the water front with magnificient views over the sea. Platis Gialos is located in the southern part of the island of Sifnos, and is the biggest and most popular sandy beach on the island. It is also considered to be one of the longest beaches in the Cyclades. The name Platis Gialos means ‘long flat beach’. The only thing we can promise to you is that you will enjoy your vacation !

Directly next to our Pension is our cafeteria, La Playa cafe-snacks, in which you can enjoy your breakfast with a variety of coffees, cakes, fresh juices, omelettes, croissant, traditional cheese-pies and cream pies. At midday club sandwiches, salads, platters, spaghetti and pancakes. In the afternoon you can have delicious homemade pastry, fruit salads, waffles and donuts with ice-cream. In the evening you can enjoy your drinks while listening to soft music and the gentle sounds of water lapping onto the beach.

In Platis Gialos exist a lot of taverns, restaurants, cafeterias, shops with tourist types, supermarket as well as pottery shops where you can buy traditional handmade ceramics of Sifnos.
